Wine
This post is going to be mainly a picture post because for the life of me, I don’t really have much to say about wine. Haha. I learnt alot about it, but I really don’t have the knowledge about it to be spreading on my blog. Lolol.
I went over to Hunter Valley on a wine/cheese/olives tour on Tuesday (because we had public holidays for Easter). Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but it did start to clear up in the north.
The coach ride was about 2 hours and we had to wake up at 5am to get the coach at 7am!!! I was starving by the time I got onto the coach!!! Luckily, we made a quick stop at a cafe to grab a bite. I went all out. Lol.
My breakky!
By the time we got to the vineyards, we were visiting 4 in total, it was only 9am!!! So we had to drink wine as breakfast juice!!! Luckily, they gave us some sweeter wines to start off, so it wasn’t so bad.
We tried Sémillon first, and I actually really like it! It’s a sweet white wine to drink during hotter weathers and it’s very refreshing to drink!
View looking out from the vineyard. Omg. Can you believe these guys work to this landscape view every single day?? I would just lie there and sunbake and snap photos!! Wtf. It’s BEAUTIFUL.
Erm. Some random snapshot bf took because it looks like some rooster is fighting with some dog. Wtf.
Next, we went to Smelly Cheese Shop! But I didn’t buy any because I don’t like smelly cheese anymore, especially not since I was diagnosed with Gastro-virus after eating home-made Blue Cheese stuffed Chicken. Lolol.
Also went to a Chocolate factory, which btw, wasn’t that great. Just saying.
Then we went to McGuigan – which is quite a popular vineyard!
Ermm.. This is after like 17 wine shots. Eyes super red!
They even gave me a Gold V.I.P card for 10% off!!! ♥
Next vineyard!! Its called Blueberry Hill. Don’t remember but I didn’t like it much because the guy was super monotone :(

Their trademark!!! Which is some Medusa with grapes! Lolol. I found it soo hilarious.
Lunch!!! (as you can tell I’m getting really restless captioning these photos. Lol.) I had this chicken pie which looked great on the outside but is just pure soup in the inside!!! Sorta weird. But still purrrrdy.
That’s it!!
I didn’t take any more photos after that, but I reckon I had about 40 shots of wine by the end of the day. Crazy, right?
I really enjoyed the trip though and would definitely go again.
But next, I want to go to Blue Mountains!! I wanna take Mr.CG to hot spas and Nan Tien. Who has been and can tell me more about???

Lol @ the chocolate telephones. Ohh that pie you had was a typical chicken pot pie like they have in the US. Not like our pies at all… First time I got one here, I was expecting a good old chicken and veg pie.. got soup with crust on top I was like “WTF…?”. Looks like you guys had fun! I want to go on a wine tour :)
