ABOUT CHAIGYARU
It’s been a while since I’ve been together with my family… since I’ve grown up, having dinner with each and every one of them together at the table, is something I really value and treasure.
So many days, we have our own events/outings, we’re busy with work, or we just don’t have the time to eat together. Same with breakfast, we wake up at different times and many of us, like myself, don’t have time for breakfast in the mornings due to running for the train to work.
Many of my younger readers may not have experienced this already, but spending time with family is really important. As we grow up, we’ll learn quickly who we can and cannot trust. Family.. is always in the first category. With family, all the effort you put in and all the love you give them, you will receive the same. With friends and coworkers, it just doesn’t always happen the same way.
Sometimes, you might want to come home a little earlier than usual to surprise your parents with their favourite takeaway dish, or you may want to surprise them with a card. Anything you do, they’ll appreciate. I promise.
For me? My family and I have been through so much together. Fighting through the ups and downs of my dad’s business. We truly treasure each other and although it may not show through our speech, it shows through our heart.
Just some food for thought. I’ll leave you with our Malaysian noms ♥
Some deep fried fish. I forgot the name of it, but the sauce is reallly good. It’s a mix of sweet, sour and chilli!!
Deep fried chicken made like skewers. It was a pain in the ass to take the toothpick out and then eat, but it was delicious. Great presentation.
Outfit of the night
And when my dad tried to take the bones out of the fish, this happened….. wtf?
Note to restaurant owners: never buy cheap cultery.
Oh my goodness. I was shocked to see the bent spoon. Never thought that it would be possible for that to happen (unless it has been heated?).
i don\’t think so! because it was just sitting on the table ready to be used.. haha! bad quality. tsk tsk.
hahaha my aunty tried to scrape the insides of a coconut and the spoon turned out that way too :P
love your outfit :)
HAHAAH! yeh but a coconut is really freaking hard! :P
Ahh I miss pandan chicken! They don’t have much of that in Perth.. :(
Loving your necklace btw! <"
OMG!! THat must be one cheap spoon….

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about spending more time with family, it’s so true. I love your FOTD, you have great skin… & WTF with that spoon… BTW I’m a new follower :)
