Photoshop magic
So last night I was feeling really.. I don’t know.. you know the feeling where you just wanna do something, except study or sleep?
Well, yeh, I tend to feel like that alot during “exam periods”. I got off the phone with Mr.CG and he went off to sleep.. and I had absolutely nothing left to do except for study!!! Which wasn’t going to happen…. so, I opened up the most used program on my computer, PHOTOSHOP!
Now, alot of you guys don’t like me photoshopping my pictures, but it’s my blog, so I can do what I like right? I love pretty photos and you guys can always see “me” in my youtube videos anyway so don’t feel cheated about my photoshopped self!! :)
I took one of the videos that I hated most of myself and tried to photoshop it into something I’ll like a little more. Now this is pretty hard because I’m so picky about myself and the angle of this picture was also really awkward and made my arms look really weird..
The result of the photoshop didn’t make the picture perfect.. infact, it looks a little distorted now, but I’m quite satisfied with result since it was my first time photoshopping such drastic effects on my photos.
Let’s take a look..
Here is the picture I had from before. Some that have followed me for a while may remember this photo appearing in a blogpost somewhere before…
After photoshopping. Basically enhancing the eyes and hair and a little bit of colour correction.
The pictures look a little different because of the way I use to edit my photos ages ago.. with the frame around it -_-” I hate that now..
Reasons why it’s not perfect
1. The hair looks funny too, but first time photoshopping my hair, so hahaha!! At least now I know I can photoshop hair extensions!
2. Purple eyes are extremely visible and fake. Need to blend it in a bit more
3. My necklace has gone a bit distorted from the photoshopping of the hair and I’ve failed to fix it.
4. My hair looks like its in big chunks of colours.
That’s about it. Don’t bother telling me if it looks crappy cause I already know :P
I’m still starting on this new photoshopping thing. I used to only work with liquidifying and colour correction! Watch me master at photoshop ;)
Personally, I think you looked pretty in your original pic. Don’t see anything wrong with it =)
What brush did you use for your hair? Did the brush come with the original Photoshop or did you download it? I had a bunch of brushes but lost them all when I reformatted my comp =(

Aw you dont need photoshop! You look much cuter and more natural in the first unedited one!
Haha you look absolutely great in the original pic. I know it’s fun to play with Photoshop because I definitely do all the time – turning my hair red or my eyes green xD Good luck mastering those PS skills because I definitely am lacking in them lol!

Why you use Photoshop when you look so pretty in the Originally Photo?
I am 20 years old and a digital media designer and your 2nd picture remember me when i was a beginner at Photoshop :D
But pleaseee dont use a Stamp for your Hair hair to make it Longer, its very hard to do. And dont use special colors for your Eyes that looks weird ~ |D
Did you try soft/sharp? Lights? its one of the fast ways to look you better (still you look perfect on 1st Photo)

I don’t think it’s like cheating when you photoshop your pics, though you’re already pretty in the original pic. Personally, I believe that the program just fulfill our beauty ego by making us a prettier, and we like our prettier self, ain’t we? =P
i use gimp (it’s free!), so i gimped most of my photos. nothing too wrong with original, but most of them are too blurry and i need to make them clearer and sometimes lighter due to insufficient light.
yes, it’s your blog and you can do what you like. and i think you look cute before and after :)
