Painkiller addiction? Michael Jackson’s death…
June 27, 2009
News sites have been swamped. It’s the headline of all newpapers, all blogs, all over the world…
They say Demerol may have been the drug that killed Michael Jackson. He had been addicted to the painkiller for a number of years. It is said that he had collapsed at his home approximately an hour after receiving an injection of the painkiller, which caused a cardiac arrest.
His physician doctor Dr. Conrad is now wanted for questioning and police have stressed that he is not under suspicion.
I’m sure for us, who maybe using Demerol as well, will go google the side affects of this drug and how it may affect us as well.
Demerol, especially if mixed with other pain killers or sedatives causes central nervous system depression, and can increase the chances of cardiac and respiratory arrest. Reportedly Michael collapsed after receiving the narcotic injection. – Emaxhealth
The drug Demerol is known for its adverse side effects including constipation, dry mouth, lightheadedness, twitchiness, muscular twitches, and nausea. Other noted individuals who died with Demerol in their veins were David Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy and country singer Tammy Wynette.
“I believe that the shocking news has saddened us all, whether having a love or hate relationship with the 50 year old King of Pop. It certainly reminds me of how fragile life is and how it can be taken away any time of any day without warning.
Me, myself, I’ve never been a big fan of Michael Jackson. I’m not a hater, but not a lover. He had his moments in my life. I loved this and that song, but hated his child molesting behaviours – (but who was to blame?) and his Ronald-McDonald plastic face.
I’ve always questioned myself as to whether kids actually love clowns or hate them? As a child once, myself, I believe they didn’t seem to scare me away at all.
Is it the bold & colourful lips plus the white face they have? Or the frissy afro hair they fashionably style?
I strongly believe Ronald McDonald would have been Michael Jackson’s style inspiration. Maybe his wardrobes were wallpapered with RM’s appearances in papers? He sure wasn’t my beauty inspiration..
Many of us believe that MJ’s father was the one to blame for his “lost childhood”. His father was always strict and a perfectionist. He always dissed his son’s nose and never took the time to understand him. Even until 50, MJ always tried to search for his childhood again – looking for what he had once lost.
Being such a young, yet so successful man, we will definitely remember him for his career and I believe his departure has become one of the world’s most shocking news. I hereby, wish he rests in peace. We will continue to listen to your music because you are truly talented at heart. RIP.“

A true legend indeed.
Rest In Peace MJ.
I agree. I feel as if his father was the one to blame for losing his childhood. That's why he had his Neverland Ranch and all the rumors occurred with him molesting children. RIP MJ

He always had a pain killer addiction, I truly believe that's what killed him.
I didn't get how he recently had a physical and was in "good health" …yet now he is dead.
