my god. he should have been bashed. we don't deserve to be treated like that. i'm glad you are okay and he didn't come close to you. god.. what a sleazy bastard. i agree, women need to know self defense. hahah.. i, myself am known for bashing people at my uni :P i guess it comes from being an ice hockey player.. :P
Oh my gosh… I'm so glad that nothing terrible happened to you. Even though such case has never happened to me, I know exactly what you talk about. Thank you for posting this, as I have always been concerned with such issue and wondered if anyone else out there shared the same problem. Sometimes I feel like dressing up too.. but feel insecure because of all those disgusting men out there. Those stupid men should really grow up, seriously.
OMG dear that's terrible. But I know how you feel, I once was stalked and it was night.. I freaked out, but I managed to get home safe.
If there it's illegal to get pepper spray.. you know what you should do? Get deodorant in spray. And use it as pepper spray. Believe me, the dude will have to seek medical help if he doesn't want to get blind.
Since here it's somewhat illegal too (the pepper spray) the police told once to some girls to get that. No one can arrest you for carrying a deodorant with you, can they? ;)
Get one that has alcho in it!
And it makes me angry too, this way is almost legal to harass women! I hate it, and it makes me sick!
my god.. what a low life. It's so disturbing and scary..
Thank god nothing happened to u
I think every girl has experience some form of this at one point
And yes that is so unfair that the pepper spray thing.
My own defense.. kick them in the middle and RUN ><

thats really sketchy !!! the subways here don't seem that bad. sometimes you find people pretty much having sex… but i try to sit farthest away from the guy who looks like hes going to whip it out and start touching himself xD
you should keep something with you to protect yourself like pepper spray or a pocket knife
it's even worse that society expects us women to take responsibility on ourselves to prevent being harmed by men. Women should HAVE to carry weaponry and take self-defense classes, or avoid dressing provacatively, walking home alone or in the dark – just because the men of our society are so f*cked up. It's not fair that we have to bear that weight, simply for being born a woman.
gosh thats scary >< i hate it too
i also had an incident once with a sick man like that -.- __
i hate that it happens to alot atleast once in their lifetime.
Wow- I’m so sorry to hear about your bad experience!
I haven’t yet found myself in a situation like that, but I’ll definitely be prepared and adamant about when it does happen. So far the most I might get are cat-calls but even that is extremely uncomfortable and I can feel myself tense up out of nervousness!
Men everywhere seem to be like this and it doesn’t seem to be changing for us at all :/
I live on that line too, and although I've never copped some horrible man wanking on my carriage, my best friend has. Empty carriage, sat right next to her on a 3 seater and started having at it. After she noticed (hiding behind a book hoping he would leave her alone) she had to escape by climbing over the seats to get out!
Ive been regularly sexually harrassed on my school route scince the age of 11 in London, and eventually developed an eating disorder trying to reverse puberty (I recovered). I began to mistrust adult males, instead of looking up them as I was taught. These are just pathetic losers trying to fing someone vulnerable to intimidate. I found it very threatening, but scince have learned to pity and openly mock these freaks. A man on my bus regularly tried to rub himself against women and children on the route, some as young as 7, so I photographed him, reported him to the police and testified against him. Dont show fear, show derision and disgust. They need to know they aren't impressing anybody.
I think you're very brave and I'm glad to have girls like you around to testify against these horrible men. I'm sorry that you've had such a bad experience previously but I'm very glad you are now able to stand up for yourself and walk away from fear. You are very courageous. Thanks for your lovely comment.
this use to happen to me alot! unitl i stoped using pt. i remmeber taking the train early to work one day and i fell asleep and woke up to find a man in the oposite seat laying down and trying to look up my skirt. i would also get alot of wolf whistles when i use to walk to work from the train station and have had in the past when i was walking around when it was dark guys slow down in their cars and offer me a ride or whistle etc. and even came across a guy who flashed me his penis when he walked past! gross! had guys in cars who’ve followed me and i remember being so scared i had to quickly walk to the nearly 7 eleven and stayed in there until he was gone. there sure are alot of perverts out there so be careful, especially out at night and alone if your a girl :T
