ABOUT CHAIGYARU
I find it so strange that some sites just never get recognised – no matter how great they are. I mean, it’s horrible.
I love surfing the internet for great links for inspiration – style inspiration, thoughts, quotes, make up….. There are even certain websites I’d visit a couple of times a day because I just think they are that worth it.
I think some of the key things to getting loyal visitors is when number one, you have useful information on your blog in which your readers can use. You can’t just always be blabbing on about yourself. I mean, who on earth is going to google “Chaigyaru” other than myself….. *oops. hehe!
I think this is one of the reasons setting a links page is so important. Yes, I only just had time to do mine :)
It allows our readers to find other sites which may be useful to them! Personally, I love clicking on other people’s links when I visit their blog. I find that their website links help me acknowledge how other people see that blogger, so I can actually see a two-sided story rather than only what the blogger says about them self. No, I’m not a stalker.
When I read people’s blogs, I’d like to know what kind of person they are. I don’t like to just know what they like to show to their readers. I think there’s always more to that.
When I submit my blog to search engines, they generally ask what style of website I have. I like to say I have a beauty/make up blog, but I know I like to talk about much more than make up. I like to share my life with the ones around me who are interested. I talk about my dog, my boyfriend, my friends… they aren’t make up! So I consider my blog a “lifestyle blog”. I like to blog about my lifestyle and basically share with my readers what it’s like to be me (not that I’m saying you guys would all like to be me).
I think we all live in a world where we are constantly fantasising to be someone else. I mean, haven’t you ever looked at someone and thought, I wish I lived her life. I wish I had her parents. I wish I had her house. I wish I could be that popular. etc…
Anyway, chattering off the point there.
But this always leads to number two. I find that when I find useful web links on a certain blogger’s site, I will continue visiting it because I think this blogger has the same taste in style (or whatever the other link was for) as me.
Well, the purpose of this post was to link you girls to a special find of today!
I don’t know how many of you’s are familar with a website called Gmarket, but it is a korean online shopping site – very much like Amazon but in Korean – and I believe.. based in Korea.
Now, this site – let me warn you all – is extremely extremely extremely hard to navigate, especially if you are non-korean, like me. There is an “English” translated version, but it doesn’t seem to help too much as most of the listings are picture files and picture files can not be translated using babelfish/google translator!
And now, I’ve been on this website many many many many times, saving heaps on pages onto my favourites – sadly because I could not understand nor work out how to purchase these items!! I could not understand why there were thousands of pictures of different products on each listing, and I could not understand how to buy the thing, just THAT ONE THING in that PICTURE in that listing! It was just so complicated.
But, thanks to this blogger/site-owner here, Park & Cube, I am no longer trial & erroring different buttons on the site! Now, I don’t know how many of you guys actually acknowledge this website, but I do not at all! And I am so glad she came to the rescue of my addiction to online shopping!
Because her Gmarket guideline is so useful, I thought I’d link it for all my readers and let them too go crazy over Gmarket shopping!
Click here her guideline, or alternatively, click here to visit the direct link to her Gmarket Guideline.
And because she posted something so useful, I decided to run through her posts and found that she also loves DIY like me. I’m inlove with the DIY projects she has completed and I’m dying to run home from work to work on some myself. Click here for a direct link to her DIY projects!
Park & Cube, you inspire me <3
Hope you guys find her site as useful as I do!
hmm, thank god I can get items from G market but the shipping fee… booo, so expensive everything use EMS.
but G market is really good as the price of items aren't that expensive compared with EBAY and the seller normally will provides tons of samples… wheee, freebies <3<3
