Fleas
It’s been a horrrible week for me and Kawaii. In fact, it sounds like something I’ve read on FML.
“Today, I realised my bed was infested with fleas…. but only after sleeping in it for a week. FML”
Sound familiar? Well.. I’ve got nothing to say.. but seriously, f my life.
My whole body is bitten by these evil things and my puppys been scratching herself all over the house. I’ve washed her once a day, and put flea powder everywhere and nothing seems to be stopping them!! Summer is coming soon as welll.. fml.

Needless to say, I’m furious at Kawaii and the little black things on her fur. Should I shave her?

I haven’t been in an awesome mood because of the itchiness all over my body, so I’ve been lazy with my outfits. Mainly wearing jeans and a sweater. This sweater I purchased when I was shopping with my sister that day. I really like the detailing on the shoulders and leopard prints have always been my favourite.
I like.
You should take her to the vets, they sell flea bombs from very bad infestation. Vets also provide tablets that should kick start the flea killing in 24 yrs. Also make sure your using a effective flea treatment on time every month.
I have a pom which have 2 layers of her and we use frontline for her all round flea and tick treatment. Oh another note, make sure your applying your flea treatment correctly, most of them suppose to be on her skin (not fur) so when apply make sure its on the skin. and always consult your vet.

awwww you poor things – can’t think of anything more irritating **scratching-and-typing** definitely shave her. she’ll thank you when summer comes along.

My dogs have ticks but they don’t sleep with me so it’s not that bad. Careful when you use those flea collars, they can cause allergic reactions for humans (example: my sis).
Don’t shave her! You need to get Advantage; it’s fantastic. My cat had fleas a few years ago and I tried everything, useless collars, the powder you put on the carpet and vacuum up, sprays and all the generic “Advantage-style” drops I could find. None of them worked so I finally just bought Advantage and it got rid of ALL the fleas. My kitty still uses it now once every season for prevention. Nothing else worked for me. I’m not sure if you can get Advantage in Australia, but if you can you should. I’m sure your vet would have a similar intensity drop if it isn’t available.
Don’t shave her! Get something to kill those fleas, and not the collar for them. It should be better in less than a week! but do not wash her 2 days before and after putting the stuff on her..
I used Frontline combo for fleas on my dog (he got it from another dog).. And now it’s fine!

The only thing that works would be that you call in professional flea busters. Yes it will cost u a bit but it’s al worth it. I went through he’ll last year with stupid fleas when I was living with my mum, she has two dogs. They infest the dogs of cos and then get to you. There is no point cleaning the poor dog over and over again I’d you don’t get the whole house cleaned out by the pros. Trust me they also infest the yard. I’m from Queensland and it gets hot ass here so it’s like flea haven for them. Mum tried every cleaning product for the dogs and the house and it just didn’t do anything. She spent soo much money and I tell u it was a waste. Then she finally called in the pros and fleas haunt come back and now this summer coming up she won’t have to deal with the pest. Funny that I was the only one in the house out of 6 people that got bitten the worst. Had to wear jeans and jumpers for months on end, cos the scars were ugly asss. It’s now a year from the kaos and I stil have scars showing on my legs, I use to flaunt wearing short shorts and cute skirts but not so much anymore. So call in the pros before too late, your too beautiful to have yucky flea bite scars on you. Well I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. :) my brothers household went through the same thing, after the pros did there work, everyone can sleep in peace now. Sorry for the long asss comment. Tc.
oh no. go take kawaii to the vet..and yeah they might ask you to have the coat shaved? we used to have that problem with one of our pomeranian pups we used to have. her coat was a bit shorter than kawaii’s but then every i had to literally use tweezers to kill the fleas. i would soak the pup with anti-flea soap and let it stay for 20 minutes and then rinse off. the fleas would be dead by then and all i had to do was to take them off..but i think our weather here plus the thick coat makes it hard to totally eliminate. i would also suggest that you get an anti-flea collar as well. bathe with special soap and apply medicated powder. get her a trim too frequently.
