Circle lenses (GEO, Dueba, Circle2lens)
I know that many of you find it hard to choose from the large range of circle lenses which are now available on the market. Most of them may look the same to all of you because you’ve never tried, or have only tried one or two pairs before.
Because I have owned over 30 pairs of circle lenses before, I will be showing you a comparison of the lenses I currently own. Some pictures that are taken on models can be misleading as the manufacturers may have edited the photos for presentation purposes.
Some circle lenses are not as light as they appear. Here, you will find a comparison of mostly Geo lenses and one Dueba and one Circle2lenses. Hope this information will help you!
Note that all these lenses will make your eye appear larger.
Description: My natural eye colour is dark brown. I am pure asian. My pupil is small.
note: some photos were not taken on the eye because they were not my lenses (my sisters) or they were not opened yet.
Brown Lenses
Description: Floral pattern. Black outer rims and clear pupil.
Description: Brown outer rims with no pattern. Lighter tone than Angel Brown
Description: Messy pattern with medium brown outer rim. Does not look very natural.
Description: Larger diameter. Larger than the regular Geo circle lenses. Very natural looking
Description: Cocoon pattern. Dark brown rim.
Description: Very light on the eye. The centre is clear so it shows the natural eye colour.
Description: A medium brown colour. Creates a dolly effect except with brown eyes. Natural looking.
Grey Lenses
Description: Floral pattern like all other Angel lenses. Black outer rim.
Description: Very light in sunlight and photos taken with flash. Very natural and dark grey in room lighting
Description: Creates a “watery” effect on the eyes. Dark rims to create the image of larger eyes. Very natural looking.
Others
Description: Much like the Geo Angel Lenses, no floral pattern. Black outer rim to create the bigger eye effect.
Description: Very very dark lenses. Looks very black on the eye. Creates Doll Effect.
Description: Floral pattern with Black outer rims. Looks dark green on the eye.
Description: Floral pattern with Black outer rims. Looks purple in sunlight or photos taken with flash, otherwise black in room lighting.
- If you are looking for a pair of lenses which will create a larger eye effect, go for a pair of lenses with darker outer rims (such as the Geo Angel series). These lenses have a large diameter which covers your eye with the colour in the second rim, and expands your eye with the darker large rim.
- If you are looking for a pair of lenses to create a “Dolly Effect” such as Ulzzangs, you would want a pair of black lenses – such as the Geo Magic Circle. These pair of lenses are extremely dark and will look “fake”. Like you have bead eyes.
- If you are looking for a more natural pair of lenses, I suggest you go for a brown pair of lenses. Lenses with patterns will make it obvious that you are wearing them, so you should go for a pair with litle pattern and just a brown/black outer rim. The tear lenses, GEO BC102 are very naural looking lenses as they have little pattern.
- If you want to disguise your eye colour, you would want to get a pair of lenses with the colour you want with a light outer rim. Your pupil colour will always show as circle lenses do not normally have colour in the middle. If your pupils are brown or black, it is usually fine, as they blend in with the colour of the lenses. An example of a light shade lenses would be the Geo Wings Series – Ash Wing and Honey Wing.

thanks for sharing your circle lenses..i'm currently waiting for 2 pairs of geo lenses in brown..i think i got the angel brown and nudy brown..i used to wear the freslook green ones and they hurt coz they're too thick..haha i can't wait for them to arrive!!:)
by any chance do you know where i can order barbie brown and dueba brown contacts? and which one enlarge your eyes more???
@glischewski: The barbie lens will enlarge your eye the most because it has a larger diameter. The Dueba lens will give you a more natural look enlarging your eye also, but not as dramatic. If you have small eyes, I'd suggest you go with Dueba. The barbie lens are noticeably large.
Circleles2u.com will sell the Barble lens.
um, i think the pictures for dm23 and Geo gresh brown are mixed up or something. Because the one for fresh brown looks identical to dm-23, and the once pictured as DM23 looks like… i dunno what lense lol but not dm 23 because it doesnt look anything like the ones i own or the pics of the lense on most websites/soompi circle lense photobucket.

I think you've got the DM-23 Browns and Geo Fresh Browns mixed up. The design for Dueba DM-23 Brown is identical to your "Geo Fresh Browns." However the Dueba DM-23 Browns look like the Seeshell Eclipse Browns. Also, the pattern for Geo Angel Grey is different than what you have pictured. Its pattern is way different and it has a thicker limbal ring. And your Geo Angel Green is actually Bescon Tutti Circle Green. Thanks for sharing! It's always interesting to see what other people think of circle lenses as I just got some recently. I have the angel brown, honey wing, and fresh brown. I was wondering how you felt on the level of comfort in wearing geo lenses? Cause I feel like they're not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

Thanks guys for letting me know about the mix up! I'm not too sure since I've bought them for a couple of months now. I'll leave it for now as I'm still unsure but it's great to let everyone else know there's possibly a mistake!
@ Jenn: I've been using circle lenses for too long to feel uncomfortable :D However, they should feel a little uncomfortable since they are "hard lenses" I believe? Remember to take them out everyday or it dries out in your eye and is awfully painful! Also, never leave them on for over 8 hours!

I mean the GEO angel green looks awesome on brown eyes.. But on my green eyes it looked scary. So dark…
Now I'm looking for one with a light rim around them, so I'll look more natural..

I have many doubts…
I want to try circle lenses, but I don't know which size to buy. I have to order online, so i can't try them on, but they are expensive, and I don't want to buy lenses which make me look freakish or which make no difference.

Depending on which pair of brown lenses you choose, some may be very easy to mistake for a darker pair of lenses. I'd recommend Geo Honey Wing if you're looking for a lighter/natural pair of browns and Geo Angel Wing for a lighter pair of greys :)
I personally think circle lenses are very comfortable – and as long as you clean it well, wear it for less than 8-10 hours and change them every couple of months, you should be fine.
I used to wear plano, but I'm a little short sighted, and so now, I wear -1.00 on both eyes :)

I can’t say because I don’t have light brown eyes myself but I believe the Geo honey wing is what you’re after.
I don’t know too much about green contacts for light brown eyes.
