Chris’ Birthday and short hair again!
I’m so indecisive when it comes to my hair. I know, I know! But its the reason why everyone can still recognise me on the street even if I’m wearing a hat – because no one bothers to recognise me with my hair anymore. It’s either blonde or brunette – can change depending on my mood, or short or long!
It doesn’t really bother me, to be honest, how I always change my hair. I wish I could stick to one, but its almost near impossible. I still haven’t found my perfect hair yet. But that’s okay, that’s what life is about, right? Finding the perfect of everything, or seeing an imperfection perfect. I’m going to keep changing my hair, until I see it as perfect.
Well, last week was one awful week. Other than the fact that I had the whole week to myself – in which I slept at least 15 hours of the each day due to being sick – it was one hell of a long week. For the whole week, I was suffering from hunger cause I could eat nothing but plain congee with a hint of salt, and drink water. By the third day, I was sick of it and sneaked in a chicken parmigiana from dad’s restaurant. It was an incredibly bad mistake… did I mention incredibly bad????
My stomach was gurgling for the next two days and I was running to the toilet every 15 minutes to do a number 2, which came out like a number 1!! I’m not going to bother explaining that because if you don’t get it, you shouldn’t or wouldn’t want to. :)
Nonetheless, I’m by far, a million times better now, thanks to everyone who sent me get-well messages, I got them all and really do appreciate each and everyone of them!
Getting off the topic here, the reason why I had mentioned hair and being sick, is because ofcourse the two things link!
Sick = spending alot of time at home reading blogs and sleeping = getting new inspirations = changing my hair
As I was lying in my bed, I started touching my knotty hair, and thought, nope, I’m going to take out my hair extensions and finally, after so many effing years, let my hair grow. Let it GROW!!!!!
Okay, haha! You get the point.
So from when I cut my bob, which is about September of 2009? Somewhere around there… when I was still a blonde blonde, a little immature and.. haha, pictures say all.
I’m coming back to rock that hair style – in a brunette.

My outfit was for Christopher’s 26th birthday, in which we were asked to head up to Haymarket Hotel for a few drinks. Ofcourse, still recovering from Gastric Flu Virus, I didn’t have any drinks at all – so it turned out to be a not-so-interesting night! But, I still had to look my best for it!

I’m also growing my hair out! It can be a hassle, but no bothering with wigs, or extensions feels great, plus, its fun watching the progess!

i use hairspray!! and sometimes i pin it up for a few hours before taking out the pin! :)

from my experience, if you tried to dye your hair with a box-light-blonde colour, you’d end up with an orangey brown, which is a big no-no! either you take the gradual step of going 2-3 steps lighter each time you dye your hair – gradual process – or you should go to the hairdressers to get it professionally bleached. going lighter is always a scary process! every hair takes it differently! :)

I actually like you better when you’re brunette… Looks more natural and doesn’t wash out your skin… Both look good, but I like brunette better. ;-) I wish I could pull of brown hair, but it will probably never happen!

I think you look really great with short hair as a brunette! I am thinking about taking my hair extensions out as well since I am starting work next week and they have been in for about 7 months now.
I cringed at the idea of my own short hair but I would really love to grow my own hair out. They just take ages to grow out…Sigh!
i think it mainly takes so long to grow because we’re always using extensions which tug onto our hair and break it off! hence, it shortens our hair – making it impossible to hair healthy and fast! :)

but why did you wear a strap bra? It totally spoils the whole look the dress was supposed to achieve. Now it just looks half assed.
