China Glaze Haul + Super Easy Cute Nails

I recently purchased a UV Gel lamp and trust me, I’ve never worked with one before.. so before I tried it out, I thought I’d go get a bunch of new polishes. I wanted to do something a little different, so I chose a bunch of pastel colours and painted one on each finger.

I’ve never really “invested” in higher end nail polish before because I never thought it would make a difference – I mean come on, nail polish is just nail polish right? If it chips within a day, I’ll repaint them. It’s not a waste of product because it takes me a year to finish a bottle of nail polish anyway :P

And plus, if I’m going to be throwing on a layer of “gel” over the nailpolish, it’s bound to stay! Hence, I can conclude that nailpolish quality does not matter! However, with that said, I still went to buy a bunch of China Glaze polishes.

Reasons

1. Their initials were CG. Chaigyaru? China Glaze? Like come on…… coincidence, much? :)
2. I like their colours alot more than OPI and Faceshop nail polishes!
3. I found them a lot cheaper than Revlon nail polishes! I got them for $5 at a beauty warehouse whereas drugstore polishes were selling for about $10, not to mention OPI is a hefty $20!!! – though at the beauty warehouse they were selling the polishes for $9.
4. I was getting sick of all the colours I had of my nail polishes!

Okay, so if thats doesn’t convince you to purchase China Glaze polishes, the pictures might. These are the seven colours I purchased. Why seven? One for each finger and the other two are for french manicures! :)

1.WHITE ON WHITE

2. SECRET PERI-WINK-LE

3.  FOR AUDREY

4. GO GO PINK

5. GROOVY GREEN

6. AGENT LAVENDER

7. INNER BEAUTY

These nail polishes are super super highly pigmented and I think I’m never going to purchase Faceshop nail polishes anymore. They just don’t work for me! I layer them a million times and they are still so sheer. With these, just two coats, and I swear.. that’s probably more than enough. I loves! ♥♥♥

These nails are super easy to do so I won’t be making a tutorial on it. It is basically two coats of a different nailpolish on each finger and then using a nail art brush handle, I used the back end of the brush as a dotting tool and used the White on White polish to create polkadots on all the nails. The gel overlay is a different story and before I master it, I won’t be revealing how I do it. I don’t wana teach you guys the wrong way!

I adore China Glaze! It was like a gateway drug to other higher end nail polish brands. (-: They have some fantastic colors–and I buy them online at $2.99USD a bottle (they’re like $7.50USD in ULTA :| ).

Your nails look super cute too!
