heart accessories with tofebruary

I received some accessories from tofebruary yesterday – which was ordered quite a few weeks ago. I’m a little disappointed with their shipping times but I think their pieces look amazing.

The 3 heart necklace is definitely my favourite and the white heart earrings fall very closely behind it!

office look

Sporting my Nine West black pumps, Swarovski ring and two other diamond rings gifted to me by Fiorr, Thomas Sabo pearl necklace, Pandora link and name bracelet I made at the Nuffnang Yoplait event.

A full review on the webshop is coming up in a youtube. I filmed it yesterday but haven’t had the time to edit it yet!! Promise it’ll come within the next few days so hold off on any orders if you’d like to see all the pieces I picked out and a more thorough review on the webshop!

revlon lip butters

Revlon Lip Butters are finally on the shelves in Australia!

My comments on them?

  • Very moisturising
  • Not very transferrable – like the NYX round lipsticks which almost always transfers to your teeth
  • On the more expensive side at RRP of AU$21.95
  • A good range to choose from
  • Quite opaque – much more fun than using lip balm
  • Great packaging as you can find your shade through the transparent lid

The shades I chose:

  • Cupcake – Medium Pink
  • Cotton Candy – Sheer Pink
  • Gumdrop – Lilac Pink

Lasting Power: ✰✰✰✰

Butter London

Button London polish review

I’ve heard the rave.. and I’ve heard the obsession with the polishes, but I wanted to try it out for myself and see how it was really like.

1. Tarte with a Hart

Sheer gold polish with silver specks of glitter – very sheer but extremely pretty over a coat of gold polish.

2. The Dark Knight

My favourite one out of the lot – deep purple with specks of glitter. Again sheer, but over dark polish, looks amazing.

3. No more Waity Katy

A purple-grey with specks of purple glitter which I thought I would love… but didn’t end up being my favourite. A little flaky when applied but the base colour is gorgeous.

4. Muggins

I couldn’t capture a photo of this shade nicely – but it’s definitely a baby pastel purple. I really love it. 2-3 coats required for an event thick opaque look.

5. Knackered

a metallic,  galaxy-like polish which I’m not too sure about – but I will show you guys what it looks like later

Overall review:

Loved the range of the colours in these polishes, I love how they have “names” for each of the polishes!! The polishes are a little more on the expensive side (compared to your Essie, China Glaze, OPI), but I think they are worth it for the packaging, quality of the polishes. These polishes are also the first brand established to be toxic-free, hence they contain NO Formaldehyde, NO Toluene, NO DBP.

sasa shopping

Two weeks ago, I made a new order from Sasa.com! I realised that I haven’t really ever blogged about shopping on an online shop – so I think this post may help alot of you who struggle to shop online!

Aussie Retailers are going to kill me! (Eek.) But undeniably, online shopping has become much more favourable to those who:

1. Do not have the time to shop
2. Are bargain seekers

And where do I fit in? Both categories ofcourse!

So, to order on Sasa, all you have to do is add things to your cart! Searching on Sasa can be a litttle complicated sometimes because when you “search” something in the Search bar, a million other items tend to pop up.

For me, I like to search through categories – such as “for her” > “makeup” > “eyes” then go from there or if I’m quite clear on what I want, I usually go for “Brands” searching.

Ok, so once you have already thrown everything into your cart, you can go ahead and checkout! You may need to log in but I don’t think Sasa requires a log in – I believe you can guest-checkout!

This is my order!

The one thing I love about shopping at Sasa is that they almost always give you one or two things for free!!! Last time I received a pink pouch and a pink bow, but this time they were extra nice and I received a sample of Suisse Programme Ceullular Vital Eye Cream and a full sized Neogence C+ Whitening Serum!!

Shipping is normally free worldwide as well – but ofcourse it depends on how much you spend (Promotion is normally Free Shipping over US$75)!

There are always promotions on free shipping over US$29.. but you always, always end up spending more!!

My order was shipped on 7th February and arrived at my house on 14th February! So shipping took about 2 weeks, but it normally doesn’t take that long – maybe during promotion periods, it takes slightly longer.

Things I purchased:

Haruhada High Concerntrate Activator and Haruhada Collagen Activator

Jealousness Lashes (Shibuya style)

Dolly Wink Sweet Girl & Dolly Wink Natural Girly (I bought the Natural Girly ones in accident!!! #Supersad I was supposed to buy No.1s!!!)

4D Slimming solution – black oolong tea for detox and weightloss (haha don’t ask me why I bought this! #Impulse)

And gift!

Neogence C+ Whitening Serum

I actually just noticed as I’m blogging now that I haven’t taken a picture of my HadoLabo Tamagohada AHA +BHA Daily Foaming Wash but I got that one too!!!

Reviews on my haul soon!!!! Ofcourse no need to do a review on my Dolly Winks though!!!

Madly love Sasa!

be a helping hand

To celebrate 10 years of business, Trilogy has launched a year long campaign to raise funds for Child’s i Foundation – a charity established by a British lady named Lucy Buck, helping to end the tragedy of abandonment of babies in Uganda.

In third world, or less developed countries some may argue, many babies are not given the choice to live. A study has shown that an estimated number of 40 to 80 new-born babies are being abandoned each year by their mothers in Kampada – Uganda. These babies are sadly being dumped in dust bins, on streets and other areas.

Many of these babies are abandoned due to poverty, diseases and violence within Uganda.

Child’s i Foundation helps to provide care for these babies – providing shelter and support – to ensure that every child in its care grows up in a loving family in Uganda.

I love Trilogy as a brand and so I wanted to take part of this project and assist in spreading the word about this campaign along to everyone who would love to support these abandoned babies. Of course there are many ways to support, and you can read more about Child’s i Foundation here.

Our world has been filled with so much hate, jealousy and selfishness that a lot of us seem to forget the love within ourselves. We forget how lucky we are to be loved, to be brought up by our families, to be cared for by our friends.

Celebrate with Trilogy and lend a helping hand

Helping Hand Wash combines the natural antibacterial properties of Elderberry and Burdock with natural vegetable oils in an effective, low foaming liquid soap. RRP $19,95 (300ml)

A small 10-cent coin sized pump is enough to thoroughly cleanse your hands. The formula of the hand wash is very moisturising as the texture of the wash is more of a cream than gel.

I was a little surprised by the texture of the cream because I’m so used to gel or foam based liquid soap. This helping hand wash not only doesn’t foam up, but actually leaves an amazing lavender scent on your soft & moisturised hands!!

Highly recommended hand wash because you get to keep an amazing hand wash (It honestly smells very very nice!!!! But I may be bias towards Lavender – my favourite colour and smell) whilst supporting a great charity.

badbarbie

A few weeks I purchased a wig from Badbarbie – my friend Cindy’s webshop. I’ve been looking everywhere to purchase a Priscila wig and I finally found out that she stocks them so I quickly placed an order for 3 wigs!!!

Wigs are something I tend to purchase alot but have no idea how to wear. I’m always in search for the best quality and best looking wigs, but with the simple thought of old men with bald heads and their wigs slipping off their heads – I’ve never ever worn one out. Only for my blog photos.

That’s one of the reasons I love to blog I guess. Gives me a second reason to camwhore with useless items I’ll never wear out.

The wig is actually pretty hard to wear out without styling it somehow, but I think that’s how gyarus pull it off! I’m inclined to continue trying the wigs I have purchased and will continue to keep ya’ll updated!!

SKII Masks!

Advertorial

I tweeted about using this mask not too long ago and got loads of response about it!! I’ve never really been a facial mask junkie, but I can’t deny the fact that I’ve used three this week already!!!

Although having tried lots of different branded masks in the past, no other brands really caught my attention. I’ve never, at any point, stopped to keep the packaging of a particular brand or type to re-use. Beauty diary masks have been a keeper due to the price and range, but apart from that… nothing.

Recently, I tried the SKII Facial Treatment mask. At first, the name didn’t sound like anything special, and at a cost of approximately $12 per sheet – when you purchase it in a pack of 10 here, the price really wasn’t very appealing to me either. I did a bit of research and finally settled in to try it.

I don’t want to sound like I’m exaggerating, but I’m hooked. Having used just 2 sheets already, I can already feel and see the difference in my skin texture!!!! My face feels amazing!!!!

My favourite thing about the sheet mask is that SKII isn’t tightarse about it’s amazing products!! The package literally contains more content than I’ve ever seen!!! I almost want to find a jar to fill up the unused content – which is something I’m still considering but because I’m lazy I’ve just been wiping it all over my neck, chest and arms!!!

let’s talk about sheet masks!

Wipe off makeup to ensure that your sheet mask isn’t eating up your make up rather than sinking into your sink!

I suggest using a toner after, but feel free to just pat dry!

Unwrap your sheet of magic.

Leave on until the sheet mask feels completely dry!!! You don’t want to waste any product at all!!! Should be about 15-20mins!

To ensure no product is wasted, make sure you use excess content on your neck!!

After you take off your sheet mask, the mask should be damp to dry. You can toss it out, or wash it and reuse with DIY masks!!! Good idea, right? Next time I’ll try to do some sort of tutorial for DIY masks but I don’t think it will ever be as good as this SKII one!!

For now a limited time only, you can purchase SKII Facial Treatment masks from EglobalBeauty for 5% off when you mention “chaigyaru” in the discount code! There is also free worldwide shipping and further loyalty discounts for members!!!

The best thing about EglobalBeauty is that they really reward members!!! The more you rate, review and purchase, the more discounts you get!! You can see their loyalty points system here.

EglobalBeauty also sends you gifts for orders over $50! The more you purchase, the more gifts you receive!

Orders of $50+ = 1 free gift
Orders of $100+ = Selection of 1 gift out of 2 gifts
Orders of $150+ = Selection of 2 gifts out of 3 gifts!

The gift selection is stated as well – so you can be sure you are not getting some random hair clip you’ll never wear for the rest of your life!! You can choose from Estee Lauder eyeshadow duos, Udder cream and a skincare sample! How generous, right?

Order now and don’t forget to use my discount code for 5% discount!

Bausch + Lomb Naturelle

Sponsored Review

Ohai!

Not too long ago, Quicklens introduced me to a new series of Bausch & Lomb contact lenses. They are made to enhance your natural eyes to give a more ulzzang korean doll eyed effect. The contact lenses were launched first in Korea, see here.

Instantly, they reminded me of circle lenses. The only difference is that these are 14.2mm – which isn’t significantly larger than the average contact lenses, and they are one-day disposables. I liked the idea of one-day disposables though.. because it meant that the lenses were softer and you were not harming your eyes were “dirty” lenses. You also wouldn’t need to worry about disinfecting & all the rest at night.

Bausch & Lomb Naturelle are daily disposable cosmetically tinted contact lenses, with a black circle to enhance your eyes.

The black colour pattern used in the Naturelle circle will give you big beautiful eyes and fade the edge of your pupils into “pure black”.

Just like other new Bausch & Lomb contacts, Naturelle lenses are also equipped with their “HD optics” – formula for high -quality visual performance.

They reduce halos, blur and glare and even help you to see better in low-light situations, sharpening up details and provide a vivid contrast.

GEO World Blue

Lately, I’ve been wearing these blue lenses.

My sister likes them alot because she feels like they look more “natural” and aren’t as “big and fake” as the other circle lenses.. I like them.. and admittedly, they are extremely comfortable, but I still love my enlarging circle lenses.

My only issue with these lenses are though.. they do not look like the ones in the catalogue picture at all.

I would still recommend it though, for those who just want some colour and do not like the discomfort of the enlarging circle lenses. These lenses have a diameter of 14.0mm, so actually essentially do no enlarging at all.

Overall: ✰✰✰

Very nice pair of lenses although they don’t scream out “blue” without flash. They are very very comfortable as seen in my ratings…. but do not give a very enlarging effect - which I don’t mind too much, but isn’t great for days you wear “gyaru” makeup :)

And don’t forget, 10% discount code: “chaigyaru” at Circle Lens Australia

Theatre of the Nameless

On Monday, I was invited to the Illamasqua launch of their new collection – Theatre of the Nameless – at Myer (Sydney)

Illamasqua is still a very new brand to Australia – so if you don’t already know it, their brand caters for bolder looks – it claims to bring out the “bolder side of you”. Their brand is fun to work with because you can purchase extremely pigmented products for eyes, lips and cheeks.

The best part about Illamasqua is that they do not test on animals!! :)

The Theatre of the Nameless line is amazing. The line ranges from purple lipstick, to green lipgloss, to silver sparkling pigments, to cream blushers.
