ABOUT CHAIGYARU
Back from Melbourne again, and it definitely feels like i’m a frequent visitor. I almost know the streets well enough not to lose my direction now!
Fashionopolis was a success! LadyMelbourne is such a lovely presenter and around the room, you could see everyone nod their heads with agreement as she gave her tips and tricks.

I didn’t take too many photos as I was (not-very) proudly sporting a hangover that morning but more photos will be uploaded as I steal them off Nuffnang and reblog. #evil

One of the awesome sponsors of the event, Sunglass hut held a random draw competition for $200 sunglass hut vouchers! I won one of the five!!! I was so excited that I decided Sunglass hut deserves more visibility on my blog and more camwhoring moments.

Sorry for blogging about events so often these days. I promise to do more beauty posts soon! I am a lifestyle blogger after all.
Also, my Hello Kitty giveaway ends on the 17th May – which is in two days!! If you haven’t entered already, you should go.. like now!
I finally purchased the Rabbito case after complaining last year about how much I wanted it. See here for my rants.
Actually, this could very well be one of the reasons I switched over to the iPhone. Great marketing for the iPhone guys, Rabbito baby!
Say hello to Pikachu :)

Props to my friend, Chris for letting me borrow his camera for these shots.

I think I want an SLR again.
Lately, I have been the biggest crazy fan of Instagram.
My insane feed from the last few days

#1 Slimming face (Photo makeover) app with MTXX app (that Xiaxue introduced before) for the bokeh effects. I crazy love! No eyelashes too!

#2 Driving around with my new blinged up phone case (from Runway Bling) for my iphone 4s

#3 Enjoying a sleep on my favourite relaxing day – SUNDAY

#4 Dinner with Fiorr at our favourite udon restaurant!

#5 Mini rings haul from Equip

#6 Clearly, wearing all the rings I bought that day!! Haha!! (I lost the bow ring already wtf!)

#7 No description. Useless camwhoring. But this is the first day I changed my hair to middle split

#8 Drew my eyebrows thicker here because I think it suits the middle split. I think I look more natural and innocent nows! #Koreantryhard

#9 My awesome, super duper nail polish stand. There are 6 rows and can fit 90 polishes!! I filled it all and chucked out 10 polishes cause won’t fit!! Also colour co-ordinated because I’m anal like that. Wtf. I love it.

#10 Camwhoring from today after using my Eyelure Naturalites Double lashes from Lady Moss for the first time. I whole-heartedly love them. I think my Dolly Winks are replaced… but I just ordered some from Sasa. *heart breaks.
Ok. You have now officially seen enough of my face. And.. you will be seeing more.. because I am in the middle of uploading a new videeeooo!!!
This is my January Summer Favourites video and for those who are confused that it’s Summer… because you still don’t know that I’m from Australia – which I also don’t know how it’s even possible since I have already listed my country of residence everywhere…
Ok, yes. It’s Summer right here. Right now. But trust me, it’s not really Summer…. the weather… is still cold as heck. #Confusedmore
Just click play and watch.
I’m finally back!
Happy Year of the Dragon everyone! 新年快樂! Wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous year!
Sorry I have been M.I.A for some time, as you all know, I went to North America for my birthday, Christmas and New Years. I also just returned from Brisbane yesterday because my boy has started to lawyer over there.
What a difference in temperatures!! From -2degrees to 35degrees celsius.
Ever have problems packing a suitcase quarter full of clothes (because you’re going to be filling it up with new clothes later) but not wanting all your photos to look like it was taken all on the same day? Well, I’ll show you in the next few posts how I mixed and matched most of my winter outfits!
Hope you like the photos and the looks!

Yesterday, I had my exam so I finally got a day off work to shop around for Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards #NAPBAS. I passed my exam with excitement and purchased my dress for NAPBAS.
I haven’t picked it up yet though – because they had to order my size in, but I’m due to pick it up just 3 hours before I fly to Malaysia tomorrow!!!
It was a sunny, but windy afternoon – so I took some snapshots of my fashion of the day.

dusty pink vintage sweater which belongs to my sister, light denim shorts and dusty pink bow flats
I’m wearing another hair piece from Badbarbie today. It is the bun!!! A few shop assistants stopped me to ask about it and I referred them over to Badbarbie. It’s amazing but still quite heavy!
I had to run back to my car and found my hair bun falling lower and lower – as would your real hair! I had to hold my hair up just incase it fell off!
But nonetheless, I really love this hairpiece and would highly recommend it!
I can’t believe I’m off to Malaysia tomorrow! I will remember to take lots of photos and keep you’ll updated on the outcome of the finalists!
Keep safe whilst I’m away. x
A few weeks I purchased a wig from Badbarbie – my friend Cindy’s webshop. I’ve been looking everywhere to purchase a Priscila wig and I finally found out that she stocks them so I quickly placed an order for 3 wigs!!!
Wigs are something I tend to purchase alot but have no idea how to wear. I’m always in search for the best quality and best looking wigs, but with the simple thought of old men with bald heads and their wigs slipping off their heads – I’ve never ever worn one out. Only for my blog photos.
That’s one of the reasons I love to blog I guess. Gives me a second reason to camwhore with useless items I’ll never wear out.
The wig is actually pretty hard to wear out without styling it somehow, but I think that’s how gyarus pull it off! I’m inclined to continue trying the wigs I have purchased and will continue to keep ya’ll updated!!
This is my first fashion blog post, I don’t know how to photoshop and unlike my dear sister, chaigyaru, I don’t know how to take beautiful photos. So here goes…
Summer is here (even though it is feels like Winter in Sydney for the past week or so) and white and bright colours are your best friends.
What’s your favourite colour at the moment?
I like match basics with a splash of colour. White clothing are one of my favourites. It evokes a clean and pure look, and pretty much goes with anything (but remember, paint your nails! It makes a difference to your basic outfit). Here I matched my basic white top and shorts with an orange (my favourite colour at the moment) belt, statement earrings and nude bag and heels – Thanks to www.bettyshoe.com!!
Hope you like the look!

Despite how high the heel looks, it is actually a very comfortable shoe. It is quite secure on the foot and because I’m used to wearing heels, I feel as if I am able to run in these.
I’ve always been a fan of the colour gold, and the hardware on the bag really caught my attention when I first saw it.

Enjoying a coffee after a hard day’s work of shopping.

I love a statement necklace and when it’s paired with something simple, it always looks so amazing.
I purchased one of my favourite statement necklaces from Prettybird in Rozelle last week to wear to the wedding and many of you complimented on the piece!! Its an amazing piece – so glad I found it!
The detailing on the necklace is amazing and almost looks as expensive as a Mimco necklace!!!

I know you are super jealous!!! Now head over to Pretty Bird – because you may find it still there~ or if you have suggestions on where else to purchase statement necklaces, please let everyone else (and me) know!
Remember, the key to wearing a statement necklace is “less is more” – do not wear anything with messy patterns – you’ll only end up looking like a clown!

It’s obviously not mine…….
The wedding season is quickly approaching but at this time of the year, we mainly hear lover birds swooping across the blue skies. We hear about proposals, engagement parties and wedding plans.. all these happy thoughts and happy couples around us… filling me with envy :)
欣賞眼前人 (appreciate those who are infront of you) is a phrase we always hear, but we don’t really realise how important it is until we lose someone. Don’t wait for the moment you lose the one you love until you start to appreciate him/her.
Congratulations to Andy & Yo-yo
It’s actually the first time I’ve attended a wedding!! Well, apart from those times when I was only 2 years old and Mum flew me over to Hong Kong to attend her sister’s ceremony. I don’t even remember it and if photos weren’t there to prove it, I wouldn’t even believe it!
I’m so glad that I was able to attend my first ever wedding ceremony with Mr.CG! It is his first too!!!
I decided to go for a Colour blocking theme – coral and turquoise
Andy and Yo-yo sharing their vows and exchanging rings. So sweeeets!
We camwhored some more before heading over to a bar for celebration drinks and food. Mr.CG is wearing a new SABA suit I purchased for him to congratulate him for a position at Ernst & Young!

Driving to celebration drinks and food
Overall?
I had a lot of fun at the wedding ceremony and although I still haven’t been to a proper reception yet, I think I prefer tight, close-knitted weddings!
If you’ve recently had a proposal or wedding, please tell me all about it!!!
Waiting to hear all about your wedding and engagement stories~
As I promised last week (or maybe the week before), I have finally finished editing photos from our sister shoot. Fiona has still promised to make more posts, but for now, here are the only ones I have.
Although family is always family, it’s not always the case that you have such great fun with your sibling. Appreciate your family. <3
