When I first heard about Hello Kitty coming out with their own cosmetics range, I was stunned! I just wanted to see it!!
Since a kid, coming from an Asian family, I’ve been gifted Hello Kitty plush toys and hello kitty this that, that this. It wasn’t until I grew up, that I knew almost every girl was all over Hello Kitty.. even when they are 20!!! I was so spoilt with my Hello Kittys!!
Anyhoo, so not to say I didn’t appreciate Hello Kitty, but when I heard about the range.. my first thought was..
“Childish… but I still want it! It’s cute!“
I laid my eyes on the range.. and woah, you can see for yourself.
It definitely does not look like the kid’s make up kits I used to play with when I was 5!!! Shame on me for even thinking that!!!

getting ready with me
I’ve seen this tag on youtube quite a lot now so I wanted to join in the fun. I wanted to make it more like a makeup tutorial rather than just a tag since I hadn’t done makeup tutorials in a while!
In the end my camera actually ran out of battery hence why I couldn’t actually film the lips – but I used NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo with a clear gloss ontop.

Going back into my beauty blogging – for just a bit! I feel like I haven’t done it in a while.
Painted my nails yesterday. I’m back to my turquoise after sticking with the nudes and pinks for some time. I’m also holding my Vicks inhaler because I am actually really really sick at the moment and am sniffing this thing like crazy just to get air!

My comments on them?
- Very moisturising
- Not very transferrable – like the NYX round lipsticks which almost always transfers to your teeth
- On the more expensive side at RRP of AU$21.95
- A good range to choose from
- Quite opaque – much more fun than using lip balm
- Great packaging as you can find your shade through the transparent lid

Button London polish review
I’ve heard the rave.. and I’ve heard the obsession with the polishes, but I wanted to try it out for myself and see how it was really like.
1. Tarte with a Hart
Sheer gold polish with silver specks of glitter – very sheer but extremely pretty over a coat of gold polish.
2. The Dark Knight
My favourite one out of the lot – deep purple with specks of glitter. Again sheer, but over dark polish, looks amazing.
3. No more Waity Katy
A purple-grey with specks of purple glitter which I thought I would love… but didn’t end up being my favourite. A little flaky when applied but the base colour is gorgeous.
4. Muggins
I couldn’t capture a photo of this shade nicely – but it’s definitely a baby pastel purple. I really love it. 2-3 coats required for an event thick opaque look.
5. Knackered
a metallic, galaxy-like polish which I’m not too sure about – but I will show you guys what it looks like later
Overall review:
Loved the range of the colours in these polishes, I love how they have “names” for each of the polishes!! The polishes are a little more on the expensive side (compared to your Essie, China Glaze, OPI), but I think they are worth it for the packaging, quality of the polishes. These polishes are also the first brand established to be toxic-free, hence they contain NO Formaldehyde, NO Toluene, NO DBP.

red hair
After months and months of contemplating red hair, I finally decided to dye it.
For the past few years, I’ve always been told what to do and what not to do.. it’s the end of it now. I do whatever I want to do!
And that includes being a red head.
My hair is a little dry at the moment because I had to double process to get this colour, I think it’s all worth it. Dove should be able to repair my hair for me though (^__^)
silk eyelash extensions
ohai! whats been happening dear readers?
I’m actually just about to step into the bathroom to dye my hair but thought I’d get a blog post up because I’ve been MIA for so long!! Horrible me.
About 3 weeks ago, I decided to jump onto the eyelash extensions bandwagon. BFF, Joanna, introduced me to mink/silk eyelashes and I’m honestly not going back to plastic ones.
I’ve had really bad experiences with plastic eyelash extensions in the past. They always seemed to pull and tug at my eyelashes and I never seemed to be able to pull them all off evenly!!! I swore never to ruin my eyelashes with eyelash extensions again.
But, that being said…. after trying the silk eyelash extensions, I’ve decided to that I want to have eyelash extensions for the rest of my life!! Except that it is actually more high maintenance than bleached hair!
Here are the amazing lashes from top view. I have one of the longest lengths possible – 12, 13mm.
I love that they look so natural! I’ve asked so many people and no one can tell that they are eyelash extensions!!!
On the side because I think they look so amazing from every angle. I don’t know what happened with the blurry hand by the way – I did not try to edit it. There was just a random blurry patch.
The best thing about eyelash extensions is saving time. Being an office girl, I wake up at 7am every morning to shower, make up and change. These eyelash extensions has pushed my alarm back to 7.30am, and I have saved so much time getting ready!!! :D
Maintenance – extremely high
Cost – extremely high
Convenience – extremely convenient!
If you’re up for it, I highly highly recommend it!

Very similar!! Both are just as wipsy but I think the Red Cherry ones are a tad longer in length. Both lashes are 100% human hair!
