Bling project finished!

Happy Australia Day to all my Australian Readers! ♥

I originally had plans to go to Brighton Le Sands with the boyfriend, but due to issues with transport, we decided to stay home and watch the Australian Open instead. I never used to be a fan of watching any sort of sports on TV, but tennis has opened up the sporty side of me. I actually quite like it. My favourite tennis player is of course Roger Federer.

No one can beat the best.

♥♥

Well, as promised, I’m going to show you the finished product of my bling project #2 – my digital camera – Canon IXUS 980IS.

how utterly boring – featuring nothing – but their logo and the solid colour black.

……………….

and now, after the miracle of creativity that he the one who must not be named has gifted me

camera lenses on

camera lenses off

close up shots of the deco

(bow from an old ring – and yes, if you are wondering, a crystal or two have fallen off because it is, like i say, an old ring)

(pearl heart with a pearl star on top of it)

(pearls around the rim of the cover of the lenses and pearls around the video lens)

(chain bling around on the battery opener)

And then, ofcourse when you’ve got a great camera, all you want to do is camwhore with it. If you follow me on my twitter, you’ll know that I’ve reattached my hair extensions because my old pains were too painful. I went to Hollywood Hair and Beauty Salon to do my hair extensions about a month ago, and because their most popular method was to use wefts to bead into your hair, I opted for that method and it was pulling onto my scalp like crazy. But because I had paid $260AU to do those extensions, I felt like I wasn’t too keen on spending more on my hair.

I then ebayed (Ebay AU seller dollfacehair) some blonde hair extensions ($95 for 200 strands, of which I only used 100!!!), and Donna came over to help me bead them in! Thank you sweeeetie!

The extensions I received from Ebay (200 strands of blonde russian hair)

After Donna left, I quickly went to dye the hair extensions to match the colour of my hair.. only to find that I only had one quarter of the tube of dye left! So I mixed it in with a ratio of 1:2 20% perixode, and ended up with this.

it’s a little funny cause its two-toned but I’m kinda digging it – but by that, I mean I’m just going to keep it for a few days until I have the time to redye my hair to the same colour as my original.

Black Singlet, mum’s high waisted floral skirt, brown high-waisted belt

Face: Heidi Yi Mineral Foundation in Soft Beige – which I’m still owing a review for!!!
Canmake bronzer in 02
Eyes: Leah Dizon Seashell Grey Lenses.
I’m using the pink Diamond eyelashes Therese got for me here. I don’t know where you can get it from, cause she bought them from Japan :)
Etude House Proof 10 Auto Pencil Liner in Brown
Lips: Concealer, MAC Fleshpot Lipstick, MAC L/E Brew Lipstick

♥♥♥

And ofcourse, I’m going to end off with a few more photos of my gorgeous sparkling camera!

Your camera looks really nice. so bling-ed out! do you ever worry that the crystals will fall off if you put it inside a bag?

and I didn’t know that Leah Dizon promotes fake lashes too. They look good tho.

i have an ixus too and i thought of making it bling bling too.. urs look amazing.
and btw, i really love ur NUDE lips so so MUCH! *i’m crazy bout doing some nude lips look at the moment* Jz wondering if the Lips Concealer the main thing to achieve the really nude effect?

oh ya, i jz found ur blog today and I’m glad that I did!

    • thanks darl :)

i find that you don’t need to use a lip concealer to acheive a nude lip, it really depends on the tone of your own lips to begin with! but i tend to use a moisturising foundation to cover my lips to create a base for my nude lipstick.

  8. Meygan says:

Wow, that’s a transformation. YOur camera looks so cute now. That must have taking forever! Especially to get them in the right place. WOw

I love the bling on your camera! I am thinking of getting a new camera because I am seriously frustrated with my current camera. I used to bling my mobile but then all the crystals has fallen out by now.

I love hair extensions. I have hair extensions for 2 years running already. I used to use microbeads but then hated that they always get my hair entangled. So now I use the individual braid method (every extension is braided onto my own hair)…I have that on at the moment…I have my hair extensions in for 6 months already and no tangles or drop-out yet. I also love it that I can run my hands through my hair even 6 months later.

Now, I need to train my bf to do it for me because I am thinking of changing my hair colour and hence new hair extensions. I can’t see the back of my hair so I can’t do it myself. Haha!

I totally agree about tennis! I used to be into it years ago. Lessons & all! And tennis is one of those sports that is easy to watch! It’s so focused plus many of the guys aren’t too bad to look at :P! Haahaahaa!

The camera is a million times better now!! I love the detailing around the scope itself.

The only thing keeping me from trying extensions are the stories where people complain of tightness. I’m sadly sensitive, even a ponytail can cause me headaches.

I kinda like how the color came out too! I dunno, feels summery to me!

you’re born in Hong Kong too? How often do you go back?

Btw, I think you’re really cute without all the makeup (I wish I had such a cute nose), you don’t need so much of it, although you pull off the blonde/Japanese gyaru look really well.

  12. xHart says:

    OMG!!! Wow at your camera!
    You’ve totally beautified it lol

  13. hieuwmann says:

    camera doesn’t look that great..

  16. Natalie says:

Hi there, can I know what glue you use to stick those crystals on??? Thanks!!!

  17. Lena says:

What glue did you use for the crystals to stay on? And did you use a case or cover to protect the camera form the glue?
