Not too long ago, Quicklens introduced me to a new series of Bausch & Lomb contact lenses. They are made to enhance your natural eyes to give a more ulzzang korean doll eyed effect. The contact lenses were launched first in Korea, see here.
Instantly, they reminded me of circle lenses. The only difference is that these are 14.2mm – which isn’t significantly larger than the average contact lenses, and they are one-day disposables. I liked the idea of one-day disposables though.. because it meant that the lenses were softer and you were not harming your eyes were “dirty” lenses. You also wouldn’t need to worry about disinfecting & all the rest at night.
Bausch & Lomb Naturelle are daily disposable cosmetically tinted contact lenses, with a black circle to enhance your eyes.
The black colour pattern used in the Naturelle circle will give you big beautiful eyes and fade the edge of your pupils into “pure black”.
Just like other new Bausch & Lomb contacts, Naturelle lenses are also equipped with their “HD optics” – formula for high -quality visual performance.
They reduce halos, blur and glare and even help you to see better in low-light situations, sharpening up details and provide a vivid contrast.
Enlarging effect: ✰
Pros: They are very comfortable and unlike circle lenses, you can barely feel the lenses in your eyes.
Cons: They are a little too natural for my liking, but I asked my sister to put them on for the purpose of this review.
As you can see, the enlarging effect on these lenses are essentially miminal. I didn’t even feel like I was wearing anything (nor did it look like I was wearing any lenses).
I would say that these lenses would be great for those who want to start wearing lenses, but are afraid of circle lenses – due to declares of “circle lenses ruining your eyes”. I also think these lenses are great for those who want to have a “darker” eye colour – if you have a light brown eye colour, this could darken your eye colour for you a minimal enlarging effect. The name is really accurate though – they are super “naturelle”.
These lenses could also be for those who are traveling as the one-day disposables are very convenient for tossing out and not requiring water and cleaning.
I’d love to hear what you guys think of the lenses if you have tried them out! :)
