heart accessories with tofebruary
I received some accessories from tofebruary yesterday – which was ordered quite a few weeks ago. I’m a little disappointed with their shipping times but I think their pieces look amazing.
The 3 heart necklace is definitely my favourite and the white heart earrings fall very closely behind it!

fashionopolis in a nutshell
Back from Melbourne again, and it definitely feels like i’m a frequent visitor. I almost know the streets well enough not to lose my direction now!
Fashionopolis was a success! LadyMelbourne is such a lovely presenter and around the room, you could see everyone nod their heads with agreement as she gave her tips and tricks.
I didn’t take too many photos as I was (not-very) proudly sporting a hangover that morning but more photos will be uploaded as I steal them off Nuffnang and reblog. #evil

When I first heard about Hello Kitty coming out with their own cosmetics range, I was stunned! I just wanted to see it!!
Since a kid, coming from an Asian family, I’ve been gifted Hello Kitty plush toys and hello kitty this that, that this. It wasn’t until I grew up, that I knew almost every girl was all over Hello Kitty.. even when they are 20!!! I was so spoilt with my Hello Kittys!!
Anyhoo, so not to say I didn’t appreciate Hello Kitty, but when I heard about the range.. my first thought was..
“Childish… but I still want it! It’s cute!“
I laid my eyes on the range.. and woah, you can see for yourself.
It definitely does not look like the kid’s make up kits I used to play with when I was 5!!! Shame on me for even thinking that!!!

getting ready with me
I’ve seen this tag on youtube quite a lot now so I wanted to join in the fun. I wanted to make it more like a makeup tutorial rather than just a tag since I hadn’t done makeup tutorials in a while!
In the end my camera actually ran out of battery hence why I couldn’t actually film the lips – but I used NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo with a clear gloss ontop.

my nails
Going back into my beauty blogging – for just a bit! I feel like I haven’t done it in a while.
Painted my nails yesterday. I’m back to my turquoise after sticking with the nudes and pinks for some time. I’m also holding my Vicks inhaler because I am actually really really sick at the moment and am sniffing this thing like crazy just to get air!

Yoghurt has always been one of my favourite treats – strawberry, mixed berries and blueberry in particular!
Yoplait hosted a bloggers day out with Nuffnang at Vauclause to celebrate the love of yoghurt. Thank god for this event being such a relaxing one as it was at 10am in the morning and I’m not very used to waking up that early on a Saturday morning :)
We were welcomed by huge signs guiding us towards the park! #NNyoplait!
The walk way through the park is amazing. I want to do a photoshoot here!!! With each balloon on the side, there was a yoghurt tub holding the balloons down. These are creative marketing ideas. I love it.
When we reached, there were already lots of people participating in the activities! There was face-painting, balloon art, clay painting and bracelet making!
We obviously helped ourselves with the many many flavours of yoghurt. <3
We were even fed dessert crepes with customisable toppings!!! I felt so loved and special. Crepes are the best!
I’m using pretty girls on my blog to gain more readers now :)
Raine, Me, Jeanice
Next is my favourite part, we settled in to do some painting!! I wanted to paint kitttens and Jeanice did too!! Raine painted a Me-to-you bear! Jeanice’s creation is amazing because she’s damn artistic!! Damn her. I never had to get her to help me with mine a little! Raine is just naturally talented with anything girly.
Okay, next activity is beading! I’ve always wanted a beaded name bracelet and now I can finally haz one! These look like friendship bracelets too!!!
Officially love Nuffnang & Yoplait because they brought back so many childhood memories for me and created such a fun event for me and the girls!
Now, go grab some Yoplait yoghurt :)

i’m not religious but one thing I do believe in is friendship.
I believe no one can guide you as much as your friends do. You can lose lovers, you can lose pets.. you can even lose your mind.. but your true friends will always be there for you.
Always be there to guide you and always be there to tell you what everyone “outside” can see.
There are so many times you can fool yourself, you can fool others, but your true friends will never be fooled.
I’ve never felt this grateful to have someone in my life.
Now, all I wish is that you girls will not be one of those “people come, people leave”.

- Not very transferrable – like the NYX round lipsticks which almost always transfers to your teeth

- A good range to choose from
- Quite opaque – much more fun than using lip balm
