In the month of August, a heck lot has been going on between my blog, my youtube and my life.

By following my twitter, and perhaps Facebook, you may recall I wrote about “census” a couple of times. For those of you in Australia, I’m sure social media, TV, radio and newspapers have kept you busy reading all about the Census 2011. For those of you who are unaware of what Census is, it is run by the Australian Bureau of Statistics to run of “people count” of everyone in Australia for the night of 9th August 2011.. and it occurs every 4 years.

Last month (I believe), Mr.CG asked me to apply to be a Census collector because I had done it 4 years ago when we first started dating – so I thought, “neh, why not!”

So for the last two-three weeks, I’ve been busy with this “part time job” – whilst trying to run my blog, youtube, social media sites, and full time work at the same time.. oh, and real life ofcourse, sometimes I forget that actually exists.

Ok, in a nutshell, August has been hectic.. and the end of it, is still another half a month away.

So, whilst I’m slower, but still active on my blog, I’d like to invite you over to Breakfast with Audrey – where I’m also guest editing for the month of August! I haven’t done too much on there yet – only one tutorial and one video so far, but I’m about to do heaps of other exciting tutorials on there! Apart from that, as I said earlier, there are loads of upcoming giveaways on there for the beauty and fashion lovers.

Apart from that, I will be going over to The Laser Lounge tomorrow for my first laser hair removal! I’ve heard of all the scary and disappointing stories, but I hear The Laser Lounge is great and it have also been reviewed by Nikki from Styling you.

I’m really looking forward to it, and after tweeting about it earlier today, I’ve decided to even videolog the process so those of you who are umming and ahhing about it, will be able to get a feel of what it will be like in the room getting your first treatment! It’s definitely going to be a awkward moment for me though, as hair removal is a very personal topic many beauty gurus are still yet to cover.

Anyhow, I hope my experience will help you guys out and for those who have already done it, please come and share with me your experiences too!!!
