ABOUT CHAIGYARU
Remember how last time I posted I said something along the lines of wanting to post more, but couldn’t due to the floods?
Here is my post from then!!
Vanity Box introduced me to their Ameli cosmetics a few months back and I’ve been testing their eyeshadows and blushes since then!!
I typically love korean cosmetics because their cosmetics are targeted for asian skin and the shades suit my skin tone very nicely.. so I was not disappointed by these products!
I even ditched my favourite Etude House blush for this one!!!
The pigmentation of the blushes aren’t amazing, but thats what I like!!! It gives you a nice light layer on your face and it doesn’t make it streaky on your face. You can’t apply too much unless you really use 5 minutes apply blush lah!! Then that’s most likely your own problem!
I got all three blushes. Highlight, baby pink blush and contour. These blushes are AUD$19.50 but for the packaging and the quality of their blushes, I think its well worth it. My favourite one out of the three is the highlight. I’ve been using it every single day since I got it. No joke.
There are a three ranges of eyeshadows in their brand, Sparkle Spot, Sweet Diamond and Step Basic. The difference is pretty much the amount of glitter and sparkle in the shadow. My favourite is the Sparkle Spot ones.
Now… I’m not even exaggerating when I tell you these eyeshadows are freaking pigmented. They are so true to colour that you don’t really need to use much to achieve the colour on the pan.
Pricewise, it’s not even expensive at all!!! Step basic eyeshadows are $13 , sweet diamond eyeshadows are $15.6 and sparkle spot eyeshadows are $19.5.
The only downfall I would have to mention is the fall out.. but this happens with most sparkle eyeshadows in any brand really.
I love all the colours. They are all so wearable. The highlight white can be used on the inner corners of your eye and will really make your eyes brighter instantly!!
I’m using the three blushes in these pics!! See what I mean by not very pigmented but enough to see, and look blended?
I love the highlight. It makes my cheek bones stand out a little more (not that I have much!!) and my nose look higher!! See see?? I’m not lying!!!
I know the Fanta eyeshadow looked really scary before on the eyeshadow pan, but its definitely one of my favourites out of the eyshadows. It looks like a mixure of bright bronze and gold together. I love it!!
I apply it with my fingers and blend it in with a cleaner finger.
Nice, leh?
Oh, and on my lips, I’m using their lip color in Natural Beige, which I didn’t take a picture of because I didn’t love it 100%. My lip colour looks nice in the picture, but it looked a lot darker than the nude lips I usually wear. I had to top off the lip colour with my Revlon lipgloss in Petal Pink (which I adore and use on a daily basis).
So if you love their cosmetics, I have good news for you!!
Vanity Box is offering 10% off all purchases when you mention my name: CHAIGYARU. But it will only last for one month, which means everything will go back to original price on 20th February 2011.
Not only that!!! For the first 30 people who mention CHAIGYARU (with a minimum purchase of $30), they will receive a free step basic or sweet diamond eyeshadow (normally worth $13 or$15.60!!!)
Ok!
