Shopping for Circle Lenses! + Anniversary Photos

So many people have questioned me on where I purchase my circle lenses..

There are so many websites online that you could purchase your lenses and I’ve purchased from so many of them!

1. Some of them are called “shopping sprees” and those sites usually get your order, receive your payment and put you onto a waiting list until they reach X amount of orders. Normally, you’d be waiting for about a month before you actually get your lenses!

2. Some sites offer a better option because they have “Ready Stock” – but you will have limited choices. So they will give you a list to choose from, and once you’ve made your order and payment, they’ll send out the lenses straight away!

So ofcourse, if you already know which lenses you want and what prescription you need, it’s always easier to opt for the “Ready Stock” option!

So, where can you purchase circle lenses if you’re from anywhere in the world?

I’ve mentioned this website before, and I really think they are very reasonable with their prices.

  • I like how they set a reasonable price with reasonable shipping costs.
  • I like how they place photos beside each lenses, so you know exactly how they’ll look like. Some sites misplace photos with their lenses so you are misled to thinking you are buying the wrong pair of lenses.
  • I like how the layout of their website is not messy like many other sellers.
  • I like how they set out their authenticity and state the Geo Anti-Fake system so that you can be assured that their lenses are 100% authentic and made by GEO.
  • I like how their customer service is so helpful. Felicia, the one whom I usually speak to, speaks fluent English and is always prompt in answering emails!
  • I like how they have monthly promotions so that you know you are always paying the best price for the best lenses!
  • I like how they happily accept Paypal as a form of payment and don’t charge a hefty 2% for it like many other sites do.
  • I like how they keep so many Ready Stocks so you have a wide variety of lenses to choose from without having to wait another month for its arrival.
  • I like how they state clearly the time of waiting – because from experience, a lot of sites do not specify how long the wait is! I’ve waited two months for my lenses to arrive!
  • I like how neatly your package arrives and how well it is wrapped so the glass does not break.
  • I like how they always send out parcels with “insurance”. This is so important because no one likes to lose parcels!
  • I like how they state their items in Australian Prices as well as US! I hate having to work out the “Australian” price myself! It’s such a hassle putting the amount into www.xe.com and after adding up the total cost!
  • I also like how they also stock the cutest cases!

Cute Cases!

And by the way, I’m not affiliated to the website at all. They are actually based in Melbourne where as I’m from Sydney. This is just a website I’ve purchased from and very happy about. I will continuously purchasing from them when my contact lenses expire.

Please mention my name when purchasing the contact lenses! (just mention that you were referred by “Janice”)

If you need any assistance with choosing your contacts, you can always refer back to this post I made earlier comparing the several contact lenses I own!

On another note, on Friday night, me and Mr. CG headed to The Smokehouse in Surry Hills for dinner. We booked for 8.30pm and there was still a full room of people, we even needed to wait an extra 10 minutes.. (talk about BUSY)!

But the food there was fan-tas-tic! <3
We had the “tasting plate for 2″ which consisted of some smoked salmon and smoked eel pieces along with a couple of other mouth-watering pastry pieces. Each little piece we had was so great, we just wanted more.

Waiting to go out to dinner

The tasting plate for 2 as our entree. There’s even a heart on one of the pastries!!

The place was built like an old restaurant. It even had a little antique payphone!

And it was decorated with the olden day “large discs”

Yuummmmmm…

And our mains.. both are smoked salmon dishes

3 Year Anniversary + Baby Husky

I’ve been desperately trying to find the time to blog, but just lack a lot of it these days.

Me and Mr.CG’s three anniversary is coming up and as this years gift, we decided to share our first “living” thing :)

Say hello to our four-week-old baby husky ♥

Okay, just kidding. That’s not a puppy. haha! That’s the mummy of my baby husky!! Isn’t she adorable?

Choosing which puppy to take was hard. For the very first time, I felt like I was at an adoption house choosing the kid to take home and take care of for the rest of my life. You feel like this decision will totally change the rest of your life.

Out of the babies, there was one black and white with blue eyes (male) and two brown and white with blue/brown eyes (one female and one male). Originally, we decided we’d get a black one, but they just all looked so adorable. The black one was suppppper shy, he kept digging his face into every little hole he found! :D

The female brown one was super active and super loud! She walked around everywhere and kept trying to play with us! The male brown one was very sleepy, and didn’t really appeal to me too much.

We wanted a male puppy, so after a couple of visits, we decided to take the blackie :)

We let our good friend, who studys Japanese, name him… “Hachi“.
I love the name Hachi! It means number 8 in Japanese (which is lucky in chinese), sounds like “husky” (which is his breed) and the word sounds like the “sneezing” noise (which suits me cause I’m alwayssss sneezing and known for it!!)

Just one month old and still struggling to walk (still hopping a little and stumbling), Hachi is now the most loved baby ever ♥

He’s got the most gorgeous colour blue eyes and the roundest little belly! ♥♥

Now, must I say, taking care of two pets isn’t easy – especially when one of them is just a little baby. Hachi drinks almost 1L of puppy milk per day and has used 3 rolls of thick paper towels in 3 days! He pee’s and poo’s absolutely all the time and absolutely everywhere!! It’s hard to leave him anywhere unsupervised because you know you will just come back having to pick up dried poo! :(

He’s even still even trying to figure out what comes out of his little pee pee!! He smells and eats everything to get a taste of what the object is, and seeks attention like no other! Nonetheless, I lovee him ♥

It feels really special to have Hachi between me and the boyfriend. It almost seems as if we’ve just adopted a baby together. Hachi has really helped me and him get to know each other more and now everyday, spending time with the both of them is something I always look forward to during the day.

I went to a cheap party shop the other day, you know the ones that sell synthetic bright green wigs and naughty “Made in China” nurse costumes that are 5 sizes too big and bow ties made of bright pink foam material?

Well, I decided that there may some things worth picking up, so I went in there for a look for found a “bow tie” – a silver polkadot bow with an elastic band around it for $2! So I bought it and used it a hairtie, or alternatively, a headband because the elastic was sooo long (its meant for the neck).

My other awesome find was a pair of sequin suspenders for $13!! I’ve been longing a pair of deco’ed up suspenders for so long! I was always after a pair of studded suspenders, but now that I’ve found these sequin ones, they are just too awesome. Wearing these suspenders makes a plain white tshirt look like you’ve put in so much in the morning to get ready :) Love it! ♥♥

I’m going to give away a few of my uniquely designed bows soon!! I’ve reached over 600 subscribers on my youtube channel and so I’ve made a mobile string, headband and a clip to give away! So if you’re interested, stay tuned!
